The Alphabet Garden is located in the Watch Factory Shoppes in the center of Cheshire on the corner of Elm Street and Academy Road (CT-68). There are two entrances to the Watch Factory Shoppes. One on Academy Road, and one on Elm Street.
If you use the entrance off Academy Road you'll want to use the parking area on your immediate right.
If you enter from Elm Street, drive around to the back of the Watch Factory. If you park there, you will walk up one flight of stairs to get to The Alphabet Garden. If you have a stroller or need handicap accessibility, continue driving around the Watch Factory Shoppes and turn left into the parking area just before the exit onto Academy Road.
From the north (Southington):
I-691 Exit 3, go south on CT-10 approximately 3 miles. After you pass the Stop & Shop on your left and Cheshire Academy on your left, turn left on CT-68 East(Academy Road). Go straight past Elm St, which is the first road on the right and take the next right into the Watch Factory Shoppes.
From the east (Wallingford):
Take CT-68 West, just before you get to the intersection with CT-10, you will see The Watch Factory Shoppes on your left across from Cheshire Academy. If you miss the left turn entrance on Academy Road, turn left onto Elm Street. An entrance into the Watch Factory will be on the left.
From the south (Hamden):
Take CT-10 North. Approximately 3 miles after crossing the Hamden/Cheshire line, take a right onto Wallingford Road (the first right after the light with Cornwall/Old Town Road). Take the first left onto Elm Street. The entrance to the Watch Factory Shoppes is on the right.
From the West (Prospect):
Take 68-East. Following signs for CT-68 East, take a right at the light onto Main Street (Getty on one corner, Post Office on another corner). At the next light, take a right onto South Main Street and the next left onto Academy Road. Go straight past Elm St, which is the first road on the right and take the next right into the Watch Factory Shoppes.
